Experience an elegant culinary journey on February 14th at Warren Station with Journeys Through France: Wine & Love in Four Acts. Join sommelier Scott Thomas accompanied by culinary artist, chef Alyssa, with Graze & Torrey’s Catering in a exclusive Valentine’s wine pairing dinner. Each course is meticulously crafted and intentionally paired with unique wines handpicked by local sommelier, Scott Thomas. Savor each farm-to-table course, and indulge in a symphony of unforgettable flavors.
Act 1: Champagne or Sparkling - The Spark
1st Course: Ahi Tuna crudo with fortified apple-ginger cider, apple salsa with dates, red onion, crispy garlic, mint and lime. Spicy microgreens, algae infused sea salt
Act 2: Alsace – The Discovery Choosing wine wines that offer intriguing layers of complexity, much like uncovering the intricacies of a relationship.
2nd course: Thai inspired butternut squash-coconut milk bisque with micro cilantro, crispy onion and kaffir lime oil
Act 3: Bordeaux - Passion & Depth
3rd course: French onion inspired coq au vin with a sweet and sticky onion braise, topped with crispy shallot, torn herbs and lemon-thyme oil
Act 4: Sauternes or sweet wine - Sweetness & Harmony
4th course: Maple-apple galette with sesame puffed pastry, cinnamon sugar whipped cream and cinnamon sugar drizzle
