HYPE: Trail Stewardship Day with FDRD | Ages 12-18 (Building Hope)

Description

Our local trail systems is part of what makes Summit County such an awesome place to live and play. Help preserve and maintain those trails by joining local non-profit Friends of Dillon Ranger District for a trail stewardship day!

This particular trail stewardship day will involve tree thinning with an educational component exploring forest health and tree growth rings.

Please be sure to bring (bolded items are extra important):

• Work or hiking boots (NO sandals, flip flops or minimalist shoes)
• Long pants
• Long-sleeved shirt
• Weather appropriate layers
• Hat
• Sunglasses
• A great attitude and a SMILE!

Carry in a daypack:

• Rain gear
• Sunscreen
• Allergy medications
• Snacks
• Plenty of drinking water
