A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES: TALES FROM THE GUMMY BEAR CARPET is one wide-eyed kid's memories of growing up in a movie theater. A night of songs that celebrate the Silver Screen, this one-night-only concert features some classic favorites like "Make Em' Laugh" (Singin' in the Rain, 1952) passing through the 60s with Mrs. Robinson (The Graduate, 1967) and even stopping in a galaxy far, far away with some tunes about Star Wars (Star Wars, 1977).

Ben Whitmore describes his unique cabaret.  "A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES: TALES FROM THE GUMMY BEAR CARPET is a love song to the silver screen. It's about being caught up in the magic of the movies, the childlike wonder that comes with sitting in a darkened theatre, and the impact that experience has on us at all the different stages of our lives.”
